The first of three between the Hogs and Griffins
"This Calder Cup Conference Semifinals Game 3 review is for the Cowboy Junkies and Grand Rapids Griffins. Sparse attendance on this night. The weekday game preventing much of the suburban Chicago crowd from coming out may have had something to do with work obligations, school, etc. This game coupled with the small crowd may have resulted in tickets being a little pricey, but a true hockey fan makes sacrifices.
The seats themselves were fine with a perfect view of the defensive zone for periods one and three. Because of the angle in Section 102, my only real complaint is that I couldn’t really see the scoreboard on the wall, but I could make out enough to know when penalties were called etc. Maybe you don’t need to see the scoreboard. It was nail biting right to the very end because I was always nervous that Grand Rapids was going to make the run that all championship caliber teams do, but they never did.
It was a terrific game, but the noise those present made up for the small crowd."
